Wedding pics are posted!

The wedding went really well, aside from the fact that Isabella was sick the night before.  She was in the hospital for several days the week-end following the wedding and we will be seeing a specialist in Sioux Falls on June 2nd.  I have also graduated from Presentation College and only have my boards left to take and I will officially be done with school!  Things are busy but great here... I will give a more detailed update when I have time... just wanted to share some pics!

Long time since I've posted an update!

It's been so long, I don't even know where to begin!   Things have been soooo busy here.  I am finally done with all my classes and will be GRADUATING next Saturday, May 10th.  I can't believe I'm finally finished!!!  I will not be attending my graduation ceremony, as Julian and I have decided to get married that day as well.  I am going to my pinning ceremony on Friday night to acknowledge my becoming a nurse.

Isabella spent her first birthday in the hospital.  After switching her to a pediatrician and getting on new medications, she is finally starting to get well.  She is walking and getting into everything possible.  She definitely keeps us on our toes!  Dezirae had her first public orchestra performance last week, which went rather well.  Jace is excited to almost be done with another year of school.

We are now busy with last minute wedding details... I can't wait until next week-end is over!  Dezirae and Jace are standing up with us, as junior bridesmaid/jr groomsman.  They are both pretty excited about that.  Miss Isabella will be our flower girl and my girlfriend's 2 year old son will be walking her down the aisle as the ring bearer.

In addition to all the other life changes, we are expecting another little girl around September 16th.  I was really hoping for a boy, but at least we have everything we need already!  Other than that, I don't have much to tell.  I will try to post wedding pictures as soon as I can, for those of you who will be unable to make it to the actual ceremony.

One week from today, I will have graduated and gotten married!!!  All I have left to worry about after that is passing my NCLEX exam so I can start applying for an RN position.  I can't wait to have real paychecks coming in!!!

December 14

The kids had their school Christmas performance this morning.  They did such a great job!  Dez was able to perform with her viola for the first time in front of an audience.  She was really nervous and she says she messed up, but I think she sounded great and did exceptionally well.  I just finished my last final yesterday and will all luck, will only have one semester left until graduation!  I won't have my grades until sometime tomorrow and it has been driving me crazy!

Isabella has been trying to stand without holding on to anything and she has begun to cruise around the furniture.  It won't be long and she will be walking for sure!  Thanksgiving went really well and it was one of the best I've had in a long time.  I am looking forward to Christmas, hoping it goes as smoothly as Thanksgiving.  I am super excited for Isabella's 1st Christmas, although, as Julian pointed out--every day is Christmas to her!  I think all three of the kids will be thrilled with their gifts this year.  I tried to get them several of their wish list items.

Not really sure what else I can say.... all is well in this household and no one is sick at the moment (knock on wood).  I'm done with school for about a month and I am so looking forward to the break!  I plan on getting my home back in order.  I also have a couple of leisure reading books that I can't wait to delve into.  I ordered some Christmas cards and am super excited to give them out!  (I have such cute kids!!)

Hope all is well with you and yours!  Happy Holidays from us to you!

Time sure flies!!

Isabella is finally crawling forward now.  She has also been trying to pull herself up into a standing position.  She likes to get up on her knees and rock back and forth.  Dezirae has been busy with Girl Scouts and she is also in orchestra this year, taking a shot at playing the viola.  Jace and Dez have both been busy with bowling and they are looking forward to the long Thanksgiving week-end coming up.
I have less than a month left of this semester and then I will have a 6-week break in between classes.  I can't believe I have less than six months of school left!!  Julian has been busy working and is looking forward to having an extra day off for the holiday.  Generally he works 6 days a week but our schedules work out so we don't have to have the kids in daycare at all this year.  Time is going so fast!  Now that Isabella is mobile, I have even less time to get anything accomplished... but it's great watching her grow.
At seven months, Isabella weighed 15 lbs 4 oz and is 25 1/2 inches long already.  We have the next size carseat for her but we are waiting a little longer before switching her over.  I think she'd rather be in the bigger carseat, but the infant carrier is more convenient for us.  She is eating Stage 2 foods now and is very interested in what we are eating.  I have started giving her some formula, because I ran out of frozen and Julian needed to feed her while I was at cinicals.  She started off getting half a bottle of formula mixed with half a bottle of breast milk, but then progressed to all formula.  I am thinking about exclusively giving her formula, but am still undecided.  She is on Nutramigen, which is rather spendy, because she has tummy issues.  It would be easier to nurse, but she is so aware of what's going on around her and she loves looking around... not too easy to do when she nurses.  Hmmmm, I still don't know.  Anyways, I better go get something accomplished today...
Do you believe it's the middle of November and there is still NO snow on the ground???  Amazing!  I still can't believe it!  Take care!! Wink
