    Smooth sailing.......

The new semester has started and I don't have any major anxieties about making it through any of my classes.  I have quite a few papers that will need to be done, but I plan on getting them done within the next few months so that by mid-term I won't have to worry about them any longer.  It will be easier to take time off with the baby if my work is done in advance and since I have all of the assignments already, I might as well get a jump on them.

The baby has been quite active today.  Julian's felt her moving and kicking; at times, you can see her moving just by watching my stomach.  My next appointment is on Monday, the 15th and I will have my glucose screening test done.  I have only 84 days until my due date, but that still seems like an awful long time away.  I will be sooo relieved when this is over and we bring the baby home!  We have a great start on clothes from premie to 0-3 months, but nothing much after that.  In fact, we need to shop for pretty much everything.  I still need a crib and a car seat, as far as the bigger items go.  I'm hoping to take care of that next month.  I've found a really cute pink and gray stroller/car seat combination that I'd like to buy.  I had a similar one for Jace and it worked great.  I've been slowly going through closets and drawers to get rid of stuff we don't really need.  I went through my closet and got rid of a bunch of clothes that I haven't worn for at least a year and it doesn't look like I got rid of anything!

Not much new with the kids.  Dezirae has started her Girl Scout cookie sales and is hoping to sell 175 boxes.  Usually we aim for 100 boxes, but this year they are able to choose a prize if they sell 175 or more.  When she sets her mind to something, she usually comes out on top, so hopefully she makes it.  She's doing great in school and I've had no issues with her misbehaving; however, at home she has a terrible attitude and her step-mom has been complaining about an attitude at their house as well.  I haven't yet found a consequence that has been able to tame her, but we're working on making some adjustments.  Both kids have a set of rules posted on their door, including the consequences of breaking the rules.  That's something we are just starting so I'll have to wait and see if it works or not.

Garsh - we are really getting close aren't we? I'm obviously ready to hold my little munchkin. I had a dream last night that I took the baby out, held it, was thankful that it wasn't born yet, kissed it, then stuffed it back in to incubate a bit more ;0

VINE A VISITARTE Y TE TRAIGO UN POEMA:
    ¡SOS VOS…!
