We got Isabella baptized on June 24th.  It went really well!  She is such a good baby.  She was quiet and content throughout the entire service.  Afterwards, we had a small reception at the Moose which also went really well.

 

  Jace just turned 8 on June 28th.  He had his party at the Holiday Inn Express once again and there was a great turnout.  He got everything he wanted, so he was a happy camper!!  This was also the first experience Isabella's had with water other than her baths.  She seemed to like the pool alright, but I think she would have liked it even more if the water was warmer.

 

  The new waterpark has opened and the kids have been spending as much time there as I will allow.  I must admit though, it is really awesome there.  We took IzzyB yesterday (along with my mom) but the baby didn't go in the water.  It was reallly windy and the water was rather cold, so we just hung out in the shade.  I'm super excited for next year though, when she will be bigger and then we will be able to put her in the water more.

 

  Dez is once again disappointed with her dad.  I feel just awful for her, but there is nothing I can do.  He took them out for lunch last week and told them he was moving almost 4 hours away.  He then made plans with them for yesterday since he was going to be in town.  Well, surprise, surprise.... he bailed on them and didn't even call to say he wasn't going to see them.  Dez tried calling at least a dozen times and she called from probably 3 different numbers, but she never got through to anyone.  I even drove her to her dad's old house and the front door was wide open.  She went in and saw that everything was gone.  I'm pretty sure they didn't even come  back to town.  I'm thinking that they just packed up and took everything the day after they broke the news.  She was very hurt and cried for a bit, but she seemed to get over it.  I feel just awful for her, but there's nothing I can do about it.  I'm sooo glad that he is out of town now, so he won't be able to hurt them so frequently.  Who knows when the kids will see him again or even hear from him.  I know it disappoints Dez, but I really think it will be better for both her and Jace to not be around him or his wife.

 

  Other than that, I've just been busy enjoying this summer and spending time with all 3 of my beautiful children.  Of course there's still drama, but it's much quieter here this summer than last!
